The Kid – 2022
Running from March 18 to September 25, 2022, this exhibition marked the centenary of Charlie Chaplin's first feature film. It immersed visitors in the filming and personal story that inspired The Kid , evoking the relationship between Chaplin and Jackie Coogan, as well as the filmmaker's childhood. Rare archive material and exclusive testimonies from child stars completed this sensitive exploration of a film that has become universally acclaimed.
Chaplin and the Dictator – 2021
Originally scheduled to run from March 12 to August 29, 2021, this exhibition has been extended until September 30, 2021 due to its success. Dedicated to the visionary film The Dictator , it explored the filming, historical context, and artistic audacity of this major work, in which Chaplin denounced the rise of totalitarianism with as much courage as humanity.
Original objects from the production were presented, accompanied by a global digital campaign reproducing the final speech, which became a universal symbol of hope, peace and freedom with the participation of visitors.


The Music Man – 2020
Scheduled from March 13 to June 28, 2020, the exhibition was designed to immerse visitors in Chaplin’s musical universe, exploring the importance of music in his life and his pioneering role in composing original soundtracks for his films.
Conceived as a sensory journey into the intimate relationship between Chaplin and music, it aimed to reveal the full extent of his creative genius.
Unfortunately, the exhibition had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, preventing it from taking place as initially planned.
Activities
The Circus – 2022-Present
Since 2022, Chaplin’s World has hosted every year, during the April school holidays, a real circus set up in the heart of the Manoir de Ban park. Under its big top, the troupe presents an exclusive show inspired by Charlie Chaplin’s universe, blending humor, poetry, and performance.
Around the tent, visitors can enjoy a festive atmosphere with game stalls, treats, and family-friendly activities, recreating the joyful and popular spirit of the circus that Chaplin so dearly loved.
