The Foundation

Founded in April 2001, the Charlie Chaplin Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve, promote and transmit the artistic and humanist legacy of Charlie Chaplin.

She is behind the creation of Chaplin's World , inaugurated in 2016 at the Manoir de Ban in Corsier-sur-Vevey, the artist's last residence.

This iconic site now allows visitors from all over the world to discover the life, work and thinking of a man ahead of his time.

Since the museum's opening, the Foundation has worked independently to support its cultural development and to implement new initiatives – temporary exhibitions, artistic partnerships, educational programs and special events – designed to extend the Chaplin experience, both inside and outside the Museum.

True to the values of its founder, the Foundation is also involved in social, cultural and humanitarian activities in Switzerland and internationally, in order to perpetuate Charlie Chaplin's timeless message: a message of humanity, freedom and solidarity.
